Pianist, Composer & Arranger
A regular on Vermont's festival circuit — including the Burlington Jazz Festival, Middlebury's Festival on the Green, and Town Hall Theater — Ted brings the polish of the stage into intimate settings.
“Ted Perry is an extraordinary pianist. His trio has a beautiful, warm sound that draws you in, and his playing is both deeply skilled and full of feeling. He’s also a generous musical partner: when guest vocalists like Ryan Montbleau join him, you can hear the joy and connection among the artists.”
— Lisa Mitchell, Executive & Artistic Director, Town Hall Theater (Middlebury, VT)

Beyond Performing
Ted works behind the scenes as an arranger, music director, and studio collaborator — transcribing and arranging complex works, shaping ensembles for recordings and live events, and lending his Eastman training to sessions and productions. He also teaches, taking on a limited number of private students at the high school level and above. For any of this — arranging, music direction, studio work, or lessons — reach out and tell him what you're working on.
